Precautions
-CAN'BRICK "Amsterdam (AM)" has uneven dimensions and color ranges, which allows for a more antique finish.
-The joint width for CAN'BRICK "Amsterdam (AM)" should be approximately 13 mm.
・When installing on exterior walls, make sure to leave joints at least 2/3 of the thickness of the brick. If joints are not left, water will get to the back of the brick and cause it to peel off.
・When applying to exterior walls, we recommend using the penetrating water absorption inhibitor "Repel S" to prevent dirt, deterioration, efflorescence, etc. ・To fully utilize the color and texture, please mix and use multiple cartons.
・The required number per m2/m includes joints.

Q1. キャン’ブリックは外壁に使えますか？
はい、外壁にもご使用いただけます。
美観を維持するため、当社の副資材 「リペルS（浸透性吸水防止剤）」 の併用をおすすめします。
Q2. キャン’ブリックは輸入品ですか？
いいえ。日本製です。
国内の自社工場で職人が一つ一つ手作業で製造しています。そのため、将来補修が必要になった場合でも対応可能です。
Q3. キャン’ブリックなどのセメント二次製品のブリックタイルは、磁器タイルに比べて強度が弱いと聞きましたが実際はどうですか？
確かに、磁器タイルと比較すると強度は劣ります。しかし近年は弾性ボンドで施工することが一般的になり、この弱点は補われることが多く、ひび割れの発生は大幅に減少しています。
万が一ひび割れが発生した場合でも、簡単に補修できる副資材 「BRICK+AID」 をご用意していますのでご安心ください。
Q4. キャン’ブリックはセメント加工品とのことですが、カットした断面はセメント色ですか？
いいえ、モルタルに顔料を練り込んでいるため、断面も表面と同じ色合いです。
施工時にカットする場合は、線状に傷をつけて タガネとハンマーで割る方法を推奨しています。断面が気になる場合、 ブリックタイル専用の補修剤「BRICK+AID - ブリックエイド」のご使用をおすすめします。
Q5. 廃盤のリスクはありますか？
いいえ。万が一、自社都合により廃盤となった場合でも、自社工場にて再生産が可能です。
補修が必要になった場合でも、安心してご採用いただけます。
Q6. CAN'BRICKは不燃ですか？ 認定番号を教えてください。
CAN'BRICKは不燃材です。
建築基準法では不燃材には以下の2種類があります：
「定めたもの」：国土交通大臣が定めた不燃材料
「認定を受けたもの」：大臣の個別認定を受けた不燃材料
CAN'BRICKの素材である モルタル・コンクリートは「定めた」不燃材 に分類されます。お問い合わせの多い「認定番号」は 「認定を受けたもの」に対して付与されるものです。
どちらも建築基準法で定義される不燃材料として、同様に使用できます。
