Adhesive for Interior and Exterior Manufactured Stone Veneer Wall Tile（ME-05）

ME-05 (adhesive for CAN’STONE interior and exterior manufactured stone veneer wall tile) is a one-part, reaction-curing modified silicone / epoxy resin adhesive developed for installing wall tile and stone indoors and outdoors, used together with mechanical fall-prevention fixings. It cures reliably and stays moderately firm once cured, holding strong bond strength while absorbing stress from substrate movement and tile movement.

Where to use: interior and exterior walls
Suitable substrates: concrete, mortar and board materials (excluding gypsum board)
Suitable finishes: ceramic and porcelain tile, stone (up to 600mm square and 20mm thick)

Open time: within 90 minutes at 5℃ (cure time: 72 hours or more at 5℃); within 60 minutes at 23℃ (cure time: 24 hours or more at 23℃); within 30 minutes at 35℃ (cure time: 24 hours or more at 35℃)

This product contains no asbestos, formaldehyde, toluene, xylene, paradichlorobenzene, styrene, ethylbenzene, chlorpyrifos, di-n-butyl phthalate, tetradecane, nonanal, di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate, diazinon, fenobucarb or acetaldehyde.

Precaution

Important Notes

• Never use this product for anything other than its specified purpose.

• Do not mix it with, or use it alongside, other products or solvents.

• Some types of stone can be stained by the adhesive, so test before installing stone.

• Where staining is a concern, apply a penetrating back-surface treatment to the stone.

• Use and store the product at 5–35°C.

• Ventilate the handling and work areas thoroughly. (Keep windows open during installation, and keep them open during the day for 4–5 days afterwards.)

• The product is flammable. Keep it away from open flame during use and wherever it is handled.

• Store and use the product in accordance with the Fire Service Act, the Industrial Safety and Health Act and other applicable regulations.

• Skin contact with the adhesive or inhalation of its vapor can cause health problems and skin irritation, in particular dermatitis. Wear protective equipment when using it.

• Use opened packs as soon as possible.

• Store indoors in a designated place, out of direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Wash your hands and gargle after use and before taking a break.

• If you feel unwell while using the product, stop at once, rest in a well-ventilated place and seek medical attention if necessary.

• If it gets in your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and then see a doctor.

• If it is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

• Wash off any adhesive that gets on your skin or clothing.
