STONE Concealer is a touch-up compound for CAN'STONE, our stacked stone look manufactured stone veneer. Use it to touch up cut faces and other spots where the aggregate in the tile shows.

0. What you will need

STONE Concealer (1 unit each of the dark and light shades, or 1 unit in a single color, depending on the item number) * 1 brush included
Plastic sheeting for masking off
Masking tape

1. Preparing to work

Start by scrubbing the dirt off the area to be repaired with a brush or similar.

■Notes

If you use water, rinse with clean water (acidic cleaners must not be used) and let the surface dry completely before applying STONE Concealer.

2. Touching up cut faces on manufactured stone veneer

Cover anything you do not want paint on with masking tape or similar beforehand.

Check the color of the STONE Concealer (1 unit each of the dark and light shades, or 1 unit in a single color, depending on the item number) against the surface color of the CAN’STONE, then apply it to the spot you want to touch up.

■Notes

Avoid painting on days when rain is likely or humidity is high, and choose a day with good weather. Keep the temperature above 5℃ while you paint and until the paint has dried. On heavily textured areas, or if the paint is thinned too much or applied too thinly, 1 coat may not be enough.

3. Checking the finish

After letting it dry for at least 2 hours, check the color of the repaired area. If any spots were missed, apply more.

Important Notes

・The colors offered cover selected points within the CAN'STONE color range, so they may not exactly match the color of the area being repaired.

・Store away from direct sunlight at 5~35°C.

・Do not work when the temperature is 5°C or below.

・Store out of the reach of small children.

・After application, keep water off the repaired area until it has dried.

・This product is water-based, but once dry it no longer dissolves in water. Wash the tools you used with water before the paint dries.

・To dispose of leftover paint, spread it on newspaper or similar, let it dry, and put it out as general waste.

・Wear gloves and avoid direct contact while working. Should contact occur, give first aid as follows.

・If it gets in your eyes: rinse with tap water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. If it contacts your skin, wash it off with plenty of water and see a doctor if necessary. If swallowed: see a doctor immediately.

・If you feel unwell after inhaling it: move promptly to fresh air and see a doctor if necessary.
