⚫︎What is a Grapevine Jointer?

This is a joint trowel specially designed for grapevine joint finishing.

A normal trowel has a flat surface that comes into contact with the joint, but the Grapevine Jointer is distinctive in that it has a convex center.

This results in thin lines in the joints, like grape vines.

Grapevine refers to the vine that grows grapes.

A type of American brick joint finishing technique used to create specific designs.

It not only recreates the unique design style of America, but also creates the atmosphere of a historic building.

⚫︎How to finish Grapevine Joint

01. After attaching the brick tiles, fill in the joints. (Make sure to fill the joints thoroughly with mortar pack.)

02. Wait until the grout is semi-dry.

03. Press the joints smoothly using a regular joint trowel (with a flat joint contact surface).

04. Use a grapevine jointer to make grooves in the joints.

*Please check the following points for finishing

※Finishing precautions

- If you forcefully make lines in the joints when they are hard, the iron in the trowel will cause the lines to turn black, so be sure to finish the work before the joints get too hard.

-The grooves will not form unless the grout material is soft.
