With the Brick Chain dry-set bracket, the brackets link to one another, which helps prevent pieces from falling.

Test data
Against a brick tile thickness of 19mm, the assembly using the Brick Chain dry-set bracket stayed linked without separating up to a displacement of 30mm. The broad tail of the curve shows how well it resists delamination (red line in the graph below). Without the bracket, separation occurred at a displacement of 17mm (blue line in the graph below). Adding the Brick Chain dry-set bracket to the brick tile and the joint raises the maximum tensile load by about 15%, as the test results below confirm. |
