Manufactured Stone Veneer — Resort-Style Space Design

Stacked stone-look manufactured stone veneer CAN’STONE “Split (SPT-5)” and “Hillside Ledge (HSL-3)” were selected for the interior and exterior of a vacation home designed by Wax Trax Co., Ltd.

※ “Hillside Ledge (HSL-3)” is finished with aging treatment.

※ Dark gray jointing mortar was used where “Split (SPT-5)” was installed.

● A blend of resort feel and solidity

stone veneer “Split (SPT-5),” modeled on granite, was used generously outdoors. Its uneven surface creates light and shadow, adding depth to a simple structure. Combined with plantings, it creates an open, resort-like impression reminiscent of a tropical getaway. Contrasted against the white slatted fence, the strength of the stone veneer stands out even more.

● A luxurious space

Indoors, stone veneer “Hillside Ledge (HSL-3),” which combines a sense of weight with modern styling, was used. Finished with aging treatment during installation, it harmonizes with the red leather sofa and chandelier light to create an out-of-the-ordinary space. The tile’s shading gives the space dimensionality, and part of its appeal is that it takes on a different expression by day and by night.
