Brick tile CAN’BRICK “Manchester (MC-1)” was selected for British shoe brand Dr. Martens’ Futako-Tamagawa Rise store.

Born in Britain in the 1960s and worn by many laborers as a practical working boot, Dr. Martens has since spread widely into music, fashion, and other subcultures, and is now loved around the world.

Aiming to recreate the feel of the brand’s British shops, the client chose us for our careful attention to brick selection and joint finishing.

CAN’BRICK “Manchester (MC)” is a brick tile modeled on old English brick. Reworking the characterful chips and cracks of aged brick, it has been finished into a product with genuine, understated charm. Use it as a wall finishing material for houses and shops that calls for a sense of weight and substance.
